Next...

On to the next subject...Health care reform is done and it will not pass.
Getting real Conservatives elected in our 2010 elections should be our focus. That is the subject of the day. Conservatives that will abide by our Constitution. Our Tea Party movement is here to stay. Washington, whether a Democrat or a Republican you are in our line of sight. We will send you home away from the luxuries you enjoy in DC. We are done with you. And then we will focus on driving this administration out of office.

Obama we do not agree with your policies. You are a disgrace. You will be a one term president (not in capital letters). You do not belong up there with the best this country has had to offer. Keep bowing and apologizing to World Leaders. As you bow we will kick you in the rear end on the way out.

I am sick and tired of you ignoring the will of the people. You work for us. The polls are telling you that we do not care for your health care bill but this does not matter to you. Your philosophy of turning this into a Socialist state is rejected by the masses. History tells us that your ideas have been promoted in the past and they have failed.

Like Rush Limbaugh said "I hope you fail."

You figure it out for yourselves because I've done my part. Obama does not care what is on this health care bill. He does not care what you think. He wants it passed. Elect Conservatives over Republicans

As I wrote on Sunday's post I spoke about the phenomenon that is the Tea Party movement. Americans are fed up with our Republican Party drifting to the left and becoming more like the Democrats. It is very hard to find any differences between the two main political parties in this country today.


Instead of focusing on limited Government, a strong defense and lower taxes which is what the Reagan Doctrine represented they are practicing the opposite in Washington, DC. This philosophy being practiced by our Legislators in our Nation's Capital has been practiced before and has failed every time.

Let us remember that a free market economy is what made this country great. We must elect Conservatives to Congress who are going to listen to the concerns of the American people who are tired of the reckless spending and borrowing going on right now with no end in site. This is mortgaging our future in order to buy votes.

This is why there is a movement now by some of our more Conservative leaders in Congress to endorse the Conservative candidate  instead of the Republican  on the ticket. There are many good Conservative candidates on the rise and Americans are demanding to be heard. We will take our country back.

Tea Party on the Rise

Is a third Party on it's way? Can the Republican Party embrace this political phenomenon? Are the Republican leaders going to start listening to the concerns of the people? This movement is on the rise and the leadership of the Republican Party better wake up.

Instead of embracing this grass roots movement the leadership of the GOP is thinking up ways to defeat them and this is going to cost them. These are hard working Americans united against what they see as a Party who has left them. They did not bolt from the party but instead are being slowly shunned out.

Republicans better realize that they cannot win elections without the support of this wing of the GOP. Past elections have proved this time and time again. Whenever we run on Conservative principles the victory has been overwhelming. Just take a look back at the Reagan Revolution as well as the days when Newt Gingrich and his Contract with America changed the political landscape of this country.


Those days are long gone and the present leadership of the GOP is slowly destroying those gains. They have taken the Party of Reagan to a party with no new ideas, no leadership and no principles.

There is not much difference between the two major parties today. Both parties refuse to listen to the concerns of ordinary Americans. We are fed up and will elect politicians who will be willing to stand on principles and abide by the Constitution.

We need term limits in this country in order to get rid of these career politicians who stand in the way and are there to enrich themselves without any regards to the wishes of the masses.

If the Republican Party and it's leadership had any brains they would welcome this new leadership with open arms as they may hold the key to it's very survival.

Just ask the Men and Women in uniform. They do not appreciate politics being played with their lives.

Just ask the families of the FT. Hood victims. They do not appreciate your refusal to call the crime what it was, TERRORISM.


Just ask the average hard working American. They do not want you meddling with their Health Care.


Just ask the elderly in this country. They do not want your rationing.

Obama keeps sinking...



Results are in and they tell a very different story than what you will get from Robert Gibbs and the rest of his friends. According to them Mr. Obama is doing a hell of a job running this country. They all need to check into a rehab center because they are definitely in DENIAL. Get yourselves some help because this is not what the American people are telling you. There must be some sort of rehabilitation center for people like you to check into for a few weeks and recover.

The latest Gallup poll shows that the President's job approval rating has reached another low and it now stands at 47% for his first 11 months in office. This is the lowest ranking for any President during this same time period.

Here are the numbers for his predecessors...
     Ronald Reagan    49%    December1981
     Bill Clinton           53%    December 1993
     George Bush        86%    December 2001

The American people are fed up and it is beginning to show up week in and week out. His numbers will continue to tumble unless he can prove to the American people that he is up for the job. If he stops giving speeches around the country, stops having televised addresses and silly job forums and instead gets to work on turning this economy around and help on job creation then perhaps his numbers may improve.

His upcoming trip to Coppenhagen for this Global Warming summit is another waste of time which will not help him any with his job approval numbers. This Global Warming crap although to some is a religion is not a priority to most Americans. It is far down on the list of issues this country is facing today. What we want to see is a jump start to this economy as well as improvement in job creation.

The pulse of this nation is being measured and the results say that our blood pressure is sky high.

Mr. Gibbs keep ignoring the polls and what the American People are saying.
Go on and do as you please Mr. Obama.
Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi keep shoving your agenda down our throats.

Every one of you stay in your state of DENIAL along with the rest of the Kool Aid drinkers.

When it is all said and done we the "American People" will prevail. There are too many of us. 2010 is just around the corner and 2012 will be here soon.

Ft. Hood

Down in Dothan , AL a man had a TV on in his office when the news of the military base shootings came on. The husband of one of his employees was stationed there. He called her into his office and the minute he told her what was going on, she got a text message from her husband saying, "I am okay." The cell phone started ringing right after that. It was an ER nurse. She said, "I'm the one who just sent you a text, not your husband." She thought the message would be comforting, but she immediately knew she had to let the wife know what was going on. She said, "I am sorry but your husband has been shot 4 times and he is in surgery."

The wife left Southern Clinic in Dothan and drove all night.

Miraculously, here is the photo I just received from my brother that was taken today in the hospital room. He is awake and will recover. His wife, who lives in Dothan , made it to Ft. Hood about the time he was waking up. Thought I'd share this great outcome.

for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes
all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body,
he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now.
He dictated this letter  to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,  
  
My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year.  People meeting me for the first time don’t believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos’n Mate.  Now I live in a “rest home” located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can’t figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
” We’re no longer a Christian nation”
” America is arrogant” – (Your wife even
announced to the world,” America is mean-
spirited. ” Please tell her to try preaching
that nonsense to 23 generations of our
war dead buried all over the globe who
died for no other reason than to free a 
whole lot of strangers from tyranny and 
hopelessness. ) 
I’d say shame on the both of you, but I don’t think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you.  To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House. 

After 9/11 you said,” America hasn’t lived up to her ideals.” 

Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British?  Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War?  I hope you didn’t mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

I don’t think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination.  You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American.  If you don’t, I’ll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue .  You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don’t want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight?  You don’t mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don’t want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing.  I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you’re the Commander-in- Chief now, son.  Do your job.  When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him.  But if you’re not in this fight to win, then get out.  The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you’re thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You’re not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy.  That’s not our greatest threat.  Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.
And I sure as hell don’t want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.

Health Care Reform at any Cost...

The health care debate will once again start making news after taking a back seat to the TROOP SURGE in Afghanistan for the last couple of weeks. This topic will take the front page again as arm twisting and back room deals are being made as we speak.

President Obama said as he met with Senate Democrats on the Hill Sunday night that he is willing to work with them in any meaningful way he could in order to pass this massive 848 billion dollar health care overhaul. Anything goes, the arm twisting has just begun.
As Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said there are still issues which need to be ironed out in order to pass this bill which has become Obama's top domestic priority. A bill that will destroy the best health care system in the world. Just ask the Europeans and our friends from Canada up North.

In order for this bill to pass it will require the unanimous approval of the 60 Democratic Senators which are divided on abortion funding as well as a Government funded insurance program. The chamber's 40 Conservative/Republicans are unanimously united in opposition. Needing 60 votes to pass, it is their own Democratic Senators who stand in their way.

Now is the time for us to unite out here and send the message to these legislators that we will not stand idly by and allow them to destroy a system that is so vital to our existence. We must email, call their offices and call again until they realize who they work for. This has been turned on it's head. We don't work for them they work for us and we will give them their PINK SLIP if they refuse to get it right. Please call your congressmen again and again.


 To the KOOL AID drinking crowd as a Conservative I must say...
The Tiger Woods story should not matter to you. Tiger will not be affected by this because he can afford anything he wants. It is US that will literally pay the price. Wake up and make that call. Take your country back.Your comments are greatly appreciated.

War Games?

 War Games? This is what it should not be. Timetables? We should have none right now.

"I told you so on yesterday's post."

I sat and watched Obama's entire speech last night and not once did he mention the word VICTORY or anything close to that. Why? Because again Obama read his teleprompter flawlessly but he could not come to terms with himself and upset the political fringe on the left. They own him. As a Conservative blogger I will call him out on this time and time again.

As I mentioned yesterday we cannot win a war if we are not fully committed to it and instead are worried about a timetable for withdrawal. For heavens sake how do we expect to gain the support of the locals there when the message sent to them was that if we do not take care of business quickly we will cut and run. Who in their right mind is going to turn on the Taliban knowing that as soon as our troops leave they will pay the consequences.

Obama set a timetable of 18 months. In other words General McChrystal get it done quickly or we are coming home. He did mention that he would re-evaluate the situation on the ground and make an assessment then. We all know how long he took in picking his White House pet. I had the same feeling this past weekend when my wife sent me out to buy the Holiday turkey. The point is that winning should be the word of the day and not these timetables to keep the fringe left on board.

This timetable issue is not only on the minds of the locals but also on the minds of our allies. Why commit their men and women when this President is not committed to winning this war. What do they tell their constituents?

Listen I support the President for making this most difficult decision of sending our men and women into harms way but he did not have to mention any type of timetable for withdrawal. The Taliban can hide in the weeds for some time and wait us out. We cannot keep taking three steps forward and two steps back.
The passion has to be there as it was with President Bush. I do not see that same passion with this current administration. God Bless Our Troops.

Obama: 30,000 More Troops to Afghanistan by Summer





WEST POINT, N.Y. – Declaring "our security is at stake," President Barack Obama ordered an additional 30,000 U.S. troops into the long war in Afghanistan on Tuesday night, but balanced the buildup with a pledge to an impatient nation to begin withdrawing American forces in 18 months.
In a prime-time speech at the U.S. Military Academy, the president said his new policy was designed to "bring this war to a successful conclusion." The troop buildup will begin almost immediately — the first Marines will be in place by Christmas — and will cost $30 billion for the first year alone.

Obama's address at West Point

Failure in our Justice System once again...

Huckabee? This man is a phony. Thanks to him John McCain won the Republican primary for President. Mitt Romney with Sarah Palin on the ticket would have stormed into the White House. If he would have dropped out (anyone with some decency would have)  we would have had an experienced, energetic and very promising ticket. Instead what did we get thanks to Huckabee? An old and boring candidate with no drive at all in McCain. The crowds were there only because Palin inspired them. But no, Romney was a mormon. Folks I was voting for a President and not a Pastor. I am an Evangelical Christian and already have a wonderful Pastor in my life. So what did he get after all of this? A TV Show...one that I promised myself I would NEVER watch.

Now his name has popped up again.
Huckabee man up and stop blaming others. The Pulaski County Prosecutor's office opposed Clemmon's parole in 2000 and 2004.

Thanks to the failure of our courts and people in government like yourself four of our finest are not going home to their families.

And we are supposed to trust them in bringing the 911 co-CONSPIRATORS to justice.

Obama to announce troop surge...

Tomorrow night our Commander in Chief Barack Obama is finally going to address the nation on his decision to send more troops to Afghanistan. I guess he has thought it over enough and there is no getting around it. On this one he has been harassed so much by the Conservative coalition that he has finally given in. Like it or not we have forced his hand one more time. Those on the left like MoveOn.org must be fuming right about now. The handling of this situation has been shameful.
He promised HOPE and CHANGE during his entire run for the presidency. Lets us HOPE that CHANGE is finally on it's way for the sake of our BRAVE men and women risking their lives on the battlefield.

This administration must get their priorities straight. We must keep this country safe and on the other hand we must get our economy back on track. This health care debate must take a back seat for the present time. I don't even want to discuss it right now because it is not a priority. What is a priority right now is that we do all that we can to protect our men and women in uniform and defeat this enemy.

Al-Qaeda must be defeated right now. We cannot let Afghanistan become a safe haven for these animals who do not respect human life.

I sure hope that in his address he makes this clear. We must have a winning strategy and nothing less. Our men and women in uniform deserve it. They need to know that this President and all the American People are behind their efforts regardless of political affiliation. I am sick and tired of the blame Bush crowd. We are already there and must do all we can for victory and nothing less.
We cannot leave this place until Afghanistan has a government and a military in place which can defend itself against all evil. I don't want to hear during his speech about an exit strategy or a timetable for victory. We cannot give the enemy the impression that we will cut and run or they will wait us out.

Mr. President I sure HOPE you CHANGE and show some leadership now that we need it most.

Arrogant fools...

 This has to be the most arrogant administration in the history of this country.

According to Obama and the rest of these fools they know what is best for this country. They do not care what the American public thinks about any of the issues being debated. They do not care what the Generals in charge of running this war against terror need or want. They are going to shove their agenda down our throats whether  we like it or not.

The polls show that his job approval numbers have decreased consistently since he took office. The honeymoon is over Mr. President. Your popularity is decreasing with the American people. We do not want what you stand for. You and the rest of your cronies are on our radar and we Conservatives will fight day in and day out to make sure that four years is all you get. The Right Wing Conspiracy movement is on.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15. This is the second straight day at -15, the lowest Approval Index rating yet measured for President Obama.

Whether you like the Health Care Bill they want to pass or not is not any of their concern. Obama, Pelosi and Reed have made up their minds that this is what THEY want. They don't care what you want for your family. They are on their way to destroying the best health care in the world today. Yes, we do need some health care reform. Even the GOP is saying so. But we do not need to reform the entire system just to insure about 12 million that may be presently uninsured. All they want to do is take over another part of our Economy like they have done with our banks, the auto industry, the housing industry and other aspects of our lives. They want total control of our lives and if they get to pass this health care bill they will be on their way. Wake up America before it is too late. Too late is right around the corner.

And finally I will say it again,

Mr. President stop dithering on sending troops to Afghanistan. Our men and women are dying while your indecision is shameful.

We must get this man out of office or this country will never be the same.

For those of you who aren't aware of them, the ACLU, (the American Civil Liberties Union) is the one suing the U.S. Government to take God, Christmas or anything religious away from us. They represent the atheists and others in this war. Help put Christ back in Christmas!

A Conservative view of the trials...

  I came across this comment on my friends blog. Click on the link for the entire story. This reader could not have said it better. My conservative view of this entire debacle is simple. As I commented on her blog I think Judge Judy would do a far better job than some ACLU favoring left wing lunatic Judge. How could Holder and Obama see it any different? It's easy. They hate this country of ours. Their Liberal views will destroy everything that has made this country GREAT. Conservatives in America must rise and take this country back in 2012. My fellow Americans our liberties are eroding fast. Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Rangel, Holder and the rest of these clowns need to get their PINK SLIPS soon.

This is common sense which is foreign to the KOOL AID drinking crowd who supports this administration.
These BUBBAS AMERICANS who sit home and watch Jerry Springer and American Idol should be ashamed of themselves. They will continue to put party first instead of country. This is shameful. We could have Albert Einstein running on the Republican ticket and PeeWee Herman running for the Dems and you know who the hell these people would put in office.

On the other hand I will say this now and I am willing to take the heat that will follow.
African Americans loved the Clinton administration before this empty suit called Obama showed up at the last Democratic Convention. I will never and I repeat never believe that African Americans voted for this man for any other reason than the color of his skin. If this guy had been white they would have elected Hillary in their primary. Tell me, what did this guy have to offer? You mean to tell me that this HOPE and CHANGE bull???? really won them over? Do not insult my intelligence. I am pissed off and will not sit back and allow these idiots (liberals) to destroy this country that I love.

Backward Trials – Les Lawrence 11-17-09
Why has the media missed the trial contradictions? The Fort Hood trial involves a Muslim American terrorist in a military tribunal. The New York trial involves a foreign terrorist given a civilian trial with all the rights of a US citizen. What is wrong with this picture? The effect of this inversion of rights, benefits Islam in both cases. Much of the Fort Hood case will be private, thus not exposing the Islamist ideology of Hassan. The New York situation, on the other hand, will be a media circus for years. The danger is that it will be a bully pulpit for the most radical Muslim propaganda, and worse, an exceptional opportunity to recruit home grown terrorists. Furthermore, it will be a political punching bag of the Bush administration and the CIA. Just as President Obama’s unprecedented bows to the Saudi King and the Japanese Emperor, the United States is bowing to Islam via these trials.

Like her father said she has not retreated she is just reloading.This woman has been doing her homework and the so called main stream media is not going to have their way with her anymore. She sounds informed on the issues and very articulate. Unlike Robert Gibbs and  our teleprompter reading  President who cannot put a sentence together without the um, um ,um thing going. There is no hesitation on her part when replying to any question posed to her. I have seen her on several of her interviews and folks this is a strong woman ready to tackle the establishment. If she grew crowds during her campaign alongside the inept John McCain then this time around it is going to be greater. It was a learning experience for her on that campaign trail last year. This time around she is equipped with the confidence and grasp of the issues expected from our leaders. The Dems better watch out because the month of November has been a total disaster for this administration although you will not hear that from this state run media. This month has been a total debacle for them. From the economy to the Ft. Hood shootings to the decision to prosecute these terrorists in NYC to the health care debate, cap and trade, troops to Afghanistan, nuclear weapons in Iran and to add insult to injury another failed trip overseas, these people are lost. I did not think any administration could be as bad as Jimmy Carter's but these people are really out of their league. To the lame stream media they are the best thing since sliced bread and will continue to do their dirty work because to them Obama is too big to fail. That is why their viewers are fleeing and they have no credibility anymore with the American people. Just like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest they have been taking it from Fox News, a fair and balanced news network. Sarah please keep calling these people out and we will prevail. Civilian trial for KSM...

This civilian trial for KSM (which will take years) is just another ploy by the Dems to put Bush and our CIA on trial. They will have the ACLU do their dirty work for them. If for some reason this does not work and they get off on some technicality it will not matter to them because they would have done their damage and will be long gone. By the time these trials are over Obama’s presidency would have been a thing of the past. The hatred for former President Bush is so great that they cannot let it go. Cowboy Diplomacy or not President Bush kept us safe. I cannot say the same for this administration. They have only been in office for about 11 months and we have already had a taste (Ft. Hood) of what is to come. I hate to say it but you heard it here first...do not be surprised if these terrorists notch it up another level and start strapping bombs to themselves and as suicide bombers blow themselves up at your local McDonalds. Innocent lives will pay the price in our own neighborhoods just as they do in Israel. We are in harms way and I do not feel safe anymore knowing that this President is so soft on animals of this kind. We will be attacked on our own soil again and again unless we put someone in office that will uphold the oath he took to protect this nation. Stay tuned...

The Dithering Continues...

I know that I have written about this issue several times but it is very important to me. What is the delay now on sending additional troops to Afghanistan. Mr. President make your decision. This is not like choosing your White House pet. Our men and women are in danger and as you prolong this decision this is escalated on the battlefield. Either get them the additional help they need or bring them home. It is not right for our soldiers to keep putting their lives on the line when they do not have the help that our Generals have requested. President Obama spoke of a new strategy months ago. He replaced the acting General there with his own, General McChrystal. General McChrystal has requested the additional troops and our President is still undecided. What is it with this man that he finds it so difficult to take a stand. He took an oath to defend this country yet when it comes to national security he has always dithered. During press conferences when he is asked we cannot get a straight reply from him. Is this what we want from our President? Or would we prefer someone who can make a decision and stand by it regardless of how the political winds are blowing. Playing politics with such a crucial situation is outrageous and immoral. Our men and women need our complete support and they are certainly on the short end. What in the world is he doing in Asia when we have so many issues here to deal with. What nonsense is he taking care of in China? Who the hell cares? He better get his priorities straight. I have no idea when this man is on the job. He has taken more trips than his predecessors and has only been in office for close to a year. Air Force One is one big toy for him. When he is not out of the country he is on TV in campaign mode. Can someone please tell him that he has been elected and the elections are over. Mr. President please stay in your office and get some work done like the rest of us. Stop running away from the issues because they will be there on your return. I have no idea when this man works. I get up every morning and get the job done just like most Americans do. This man is living it up like a Rock Star. He is either on tour or performing on National TV. I am sick and tired of seeing his image on my tube day in and day out. Mr. President get to work like the rest of us and perhaps we can resolve some of these critical issues that our country faces TODAY. Obama has abs of steel...

 In the name of all Americans Obama again bends over and grabs his ankles. The White House will say that he was working his abs this time. After all he is pretty fit. Abs of steel but when it comes to foreign policy he is full of mush.

President Obama created a new presidential precedent when he bowed to the Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko Saturday.
No president of the United States in the more than 230 years since the country was founded in 1776 had ever bowed to a member of royalty. That was until Barack Obama’s presidency.

In April, President Obama bowed to the Saudi king during the G-20 meeting. At the time, Obama’s deferential bow was somewhat obscured, and the White House insisted that the president simply had leaned forward to shake the king’s hand.

But the president's recent demonstration of royal deference to the Japanese emperor and empress suggests his earlier action was no aberration.




What should we make of this? Is it trivial to worry about what on its face could easily be interpreted as nothing more than a polite gesture by our president to respect the culture of a country?

America was founded on republican virtues — small “r,” that is. Like the French Republic, our nation does not recognize royalty or social rank, especially from officials of the republic.

The conduct of our president when he deals with foreign leaders is a serious matter. After all, he represents the American people and our Constitution.

Indeed, when President Obama bows before a foreign leader, the whole country bows with him.

It is difficult to grasp what President Obama’s motives are for bowing to foreign royalty (it would be nice if a reporter asked his press secretary Robert Gibbs why he does it).

But Obama’s motives do not really matter when we consider his behavior.

What matters is how the rest of the world will interpret his actions. When it comes to bowing before foreign leaders, there is a fine line between showing politeness and servility, between respect and weakness.

The United States leads the free world, and it goes without saying that our president as commander in chief is duty bound to protect the nation, and our allies by treaty. He should act in such a way that strengthens, not weakens, his position.

If we as American citizens wonder about how our president should act with foreign leaders when he meets with them in person, let us look to the history of the United States for guidance.

First, there is our cherished Constitution. When the Founding Fathers wrote it, they made abundantly clear their distaste of the hereditary forms of government that then dominated Europe.

Article I, section 9 of the U.S. Constitution states: "No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince or foreign State."
As the nation’s first constitutional leader, President George Washington set the tone. When it was proposed that he be called “His Highness the President of the United States of America and the Protector of Their Liberties,” Washington scoffed at the idea and demanded he be called simply, “Mr. President.”

No president better exemplifies the republican virtues of the country than Thomas Jefferson, who had a purely American disdain for the pretensions of royal power which he believed were not legitimately derived from the people.

As he stated so eloquently in the Declaration of Independence, power was not derived from bloodlines or royal coronations. Instead he argued that since “all men are created equal” a government should exist by “deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

Jefferson’s breezy indifference to the English monarchy was on display during his first days in the White House.

When the monarch’s new ambassador to the United States called for the first time to present his credentials he was not required to bow in front of the nation’s sovereign. In accordance with American values, he was assumed to be an equal, not a subject.

And so all he had to do was walk up to the White House and knock on the door (there were no guards or royal attendants).

Once he was beckoned inside, "a tall, high-boned man came into the room. He was dressed, or rather undressed, in an old brown coat, red waistcoat, old corduroy small-clothes much soiled, woollen hose, and slippers without heels. I thought him a servant,” said the visitor, “when General Varnum surprised me by announcing that it was the president."

According to the historian Henry Adams, the casual dress and easy-going manners of the new president were more important than they might seem at first glance.

“The seriousness of Jefferson's experiments in etiquette,” Adams observed, “consisted in the belief that they were part of a political system which involved a sudden change of policy toward two great powers. [They] were but the social expression of an altered feeling which found its political expression in acts marked by equal disregard of usage.”

The British ambassador and other diplomats to the United States were offended by Jefferson’s refusal to follow the rules of the Old World, but that did not matter to Jefferson or his countrymen, who re-elected him with a resounding majority of popular support.

Jefferson understood that symbolism was important.

Another president who promoted this egalitarian ideal was Franklin Roosevelt.

In 1939 he invited the king and queen of England to visit the United States to bolster Anglo-American unity in the face of the growing fascist threat. Roosevelt never bowed to the king or queen — or any foreign royalty, for that matter.

On this special occasion, he simply demonstrated American hospitality.

As the British journalist Alistair Cooke detailed: “Roosevelt took them [the Royal couple] off to Hyde Park [his Hudson River estate] and drove his own hand-run automobile into the grounds and gave them a hot dog lunch. Well, this was a shocker to the British, but it's the thing he would do. You see, he was a natural aristocrat, Roosevelt was. He didn't have to put on airs.”

Roosevelt was also an American through and through and secure in his standing as a world leader.

There is a lesson here for President Obama, who appears intent on upending more than two centuries of American protocol. When he as president bows before a Saudi king or a Japanese emperor, he is sending an implicit message to millions of people around the world that the leader of the free world accepts the notion that some people are born to a higher rank than others.

But when our president stands up straight and extends his hand in friendship to all civilized nations, there is no danger, there is only opportunity — opportunity to communicate the values and spirit that Jefferson so eloquently conveyed to the rest of the world — “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Making a mockery of our courts...

Today Attorney General Eric Holder held a press conference to announce his decision to prosecute five of the 9-11 co-conspirators in our Federal Courts. He also mentioned that others will be prosecuted by a Military Commission. We now have two separate sets of Justice in our country. He explained the different factors that he took into consideration when determining who would be tried by our Department of Justice and who would be tried by the Defense Department. According to him the five being tried by our Justice Department committed crimes involving civilians while those to be tried by our Defense Department committed their crimes against our military. My friends this was an act of WAR and it belongs in the hands of a Military Commission. These animals are going to use this opportunity to spew their hate of this country and make a complete mockery of the entire process. This is outrageous.
I hate to think that these animals could get off because of some stupid technicality. It happens all the time when our courts are involved. Remember the incompetence of Judge Ito during the OJ Simpson trial? It is frightening. The rules all of a sudden change. I would think that some of the evidence which was gathered through the use of water boarding would not be admissible. These animals have already confessed to these terrorist acts. They wanted to plead guilty last December and were willing to die as martyrs for their religion. The bottom line is that we will pay the price. The only thing that will be on trial will be our country. Believe me they can find a leftist Judge out there who hates this country and is willing to put us on trial. Our interrogation techniques will be back on the news and a lot of our Government intelligence will be exposed. The State Run Media will have a feast. They will be putting the lives of those who have defended this country (CIA) in jeopardy. This will turn into a circus and a platform for these low lives to spew their rhetoric.

Today thousands gathered in Germany to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Our delegation was represented by our Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who spoke to the crowd. Our President Obama who did not attend also spoke to the crowd from a location here in the USA. I was surprised that not once did either one of them mention the name of Ronald Reagan. History will tell us that he was one of the greatest Presidents of this century. He was fighting communism since his days as an actor. The Writers Guild was full of people that were attracted by this form of government. Ronald Reagan stood up then although he was in the minority. In a speech on June 12th 1987 at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin he said the following words, "Mr. Gorbachev open this gate, Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall." Yet it is sad that his name was never mentioned today by any of our leaders representing us the USA. President Reagan played a major role in the demise of the Soviet Union as well as the end of the Cold War yet our politicians of the opposite party cannot appreciate such a historic accomplishment.

I received this email from a friend this morning...

The doctor called me this morning at home -- first, he apologized for not getting back to me sooner and second, he told me that unfortunately, at Mt. Sinai Hospital, the new Obama health care reform system is being installed and it's very sad because now doctors are not allowed to see a certain amount of patients a day, YES PEOPLE, HE IS BEING LIMITED AS TO THE AMOUNT OF PATIENTS AND MIND YOU, THIS WAS VOTED IN YESTERDAY -- SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU, THIS ADMINISTRATION WAS GOING TO STICK TO US NO MATTER WHAT, ISN'T THAT AMAZING? -- YES, PEOPLE, HEALTH CARE IS GOING TO BE RATIONED -- BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I heard it from my own cardiologist at Mt. Rush on Fox with Chris Wallace...

Mr. President, what's up with the troops?

I heard this morning that Obama is postponing sending additional troops to Afghanistan until at least November 11th. Coincidence? No. I then heard chief strategist David Axelrod say yesterday that Obama would make his decision within weeks. I have been warning you that his decision would not come until the Gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey were official. That is sad. This decision should have been made a long time ago. General McChrystal advised the need for 40,000 additional troops two months ago. It is unfortunate that a decision of this magnitude would be tied to politics. His midnight trip to Dover Air Force Base to meet with our fallen men and women on their return home was just a photo op. If he truly cared for their well being then he would send them the help they need. Why all the cameras? President Bush used to do the same but in private. There were never any cameras around. He met with the families of our fallen heroes in private. He never used any of these occasions as a photo op. This President is still in campaign mode. Someone must tell him that he is now President and Commander in Chief and the election is over. He needs to stop campaigning take off the gloves and honor the oath he took to protect this country. Mr. Obama the campaign is over. Stop the photo ops and the many appearances on television and start governing. Stay tuned...

This was probably one of the best replies this man has ever given to a question in the briefing room. No "umm,umm,umm" thoughout the entire 1.5 minutes. Why? Because it was all about nonsense and not a reply that required much thought. This man cannot articulate anything. President Obama has to be embarrassed by now. I am sure there have been discussions to replace him. Because after all they told us when he was hired that he was going to be the most articulate White House Press Secretary we had ever seen. Tony Snow would run circles around this guy. Mr. President please keep him around. It shows how you and the rest of your crowd is not up to the task. It shows how incompetent this entire administration is. He could have been a great tap dancer. No one can ever get a straight answer from this guy or anything that makes any sense. What hypocrisy from Charles Rangel...

This was posted on Politico yesterday by Glenn Thrush. It is unbelievable. This man is the Chairman of the House and Means Committee. They write tax laws. He is a tax cheat himself and if the House Democrats had any morals they would actually ask for his resignation. Yet he is sponsoring a Bill of this nature. These are the same Democrats who approved another tax cheat Timothy Geithner as our Treasury Secretary.


Rangel introduces offshore tax-cheat bill

Every tax bill introduced by House Ways and Means Chairman Charles Rangel (D-NY) is getting the once-over from the GOP, so it's no surprise they took note of a bill, introduced by Rangel and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) cracking down on offshore tax cheats.

The “Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act of 2009” -- introduced by Baucus and Rangel in conjunction with the Obama administration -- would mandate Individuals with offshore accounts provide details and list them on tax returns. Rules governing trusts would be "significantly strengthened" to prevent the true beneficiaries from hiding front entities.

“This bill offers foreign banks a simple choice – if you wish to access our capital markets, you have to report on U.S. account holders,” said Rangel, in a statement posted on the committee's homepage. “I am confident that most banks will do the right thing and help to make bank secrecy practices a thing of the past.”

Rangel has never been accused of committing any of the tax shelter shenanigans the bill targets, but he has admitted to underreporting assets on his House financial disclosure forms and reportedly failed to document income from a condo he owns in the Dominican Republic.

And that prompted this response from a National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Tory Mazzola: “Is tax-cheat Charlie Rangel really the best watchdog?... Maybe it’s because he knows where the loopholes are. He’s taken ‘do as I say not as I do’ to an embarrassing new low.”

Still no troops...

It is close to 60 days and our President is still playing politics with our men and women in harms way. He is still thinking about whether to send additional troops to Afghanistan or not. Just like it took him months to decide what kind of dog to get for the White House. This is much more serious than that but his hands are tied by the kooks on the left. I heard rumors last night that he may send half of the troops (20,000) requested by General McChrystal. He appointed this General himself relieving the General that was in charge before. He said McChrystal would bring a new strategy. He has but Obama is not listening because of the upcoming elections on Nov.3rd where there are close races in NJ and Virginia. Two pivotal states he must carry in 2012. Some of you of the opposing view will say, " Some is better than nothing, you Republicans are never satisfied." That is a moronic statement to make. Your experts on the ground advice you they need an additional 40,000 troops. That is what they are there for, to lead and make those decisions. Yet our president who has never run a candy store wants to dictate to our experts there how to manage this war. My friends if we are in this war we are there to win. Squash the enemy with full force and then get our troops home. So far this month of October we have lost 55 of our brave men and women. Our President does not care. If he did he would take the advice of our Generals. Our men and women are dying and this man has no strategy and when one is proposed by the experts he plays politics with their lives. He is not even communicating with his field Generals on an ongoing basis. If he cared he would be on the phone periodically with these men. How can a CEO of a corporation successfully manage his business if he does not hold meetings with his staff on a regular basis? He cannot, and that is what our Commander in Chief is doing, stay tuned...

It is very close because there is an Independent (Chris Daggett) playing the spoiler role and taking votes from the GOP candidate Chris Christie. John Corzine the incumbent is getting lots of money from the DNC. He had a visit from Obama the other day to help give him a boost. We need to get the vote out in these two races if we want to hold on to our freedoms.

Just a smoke screen...

The Obama administration has picked a fight with Fox News for the last few months. They have sent out their top guns Rahm Emmanuel and David Axelrod the other day to do some of his dirty work. They both claimed that Fox News was not a legitimate news organization. Obama himself has constantly whined about the coverage he gets from Fox News. You see the state run media has fallen in line like nice little boys and Obama can do no wrong. Not the case at Fox News. Fox is the bad one here for presenting both sides of the story. But Fox does this only during their opinion based programming. They always bring someone of the opposing view which is more than I can say about the other networks. But you see when reporting the news there are not two sides to a story. News networks are supposed to report the story as it is and we the viewers decide. That is why Fox's motto is "WE REPORT, YOU DECIDE." Their job is not to give us their perspective on the story. Their job is to report the news. That is why there was little coverage on Van Jones, Acorn and the other damaging stories out there. If they report on these things it looks really bad for this administration. So they have stayed away from pieces that would hurt Obama. Fox News has not and have reported on these scandals because it is their job to inform the public on any developing story. They do not decide for us what we should and should not hear about this administration. My friends the Acorn story was a big one yet the state run media did not report on it. This is very dangerous. We cannot let any administration control the Press. Our liberties/freedom are eroding right before our eyes and some Americans just don't care. They are too busy listening to shows like Jerry Springer and American Idol. Now why would an administration pick a fight with a major news network? That does not make sense and is a losing battle every single time. Fox News has more listeners than the rest combined. Yet who is advising Obama to continue this nonsense? Why does he insult the viewers of Fox News when he is the President of all Americans not just of those that agree with him. There are many independent voters with no party affiliation who listen to Fox. My take is that this is all a SMOKE SCREEN to pass his HEALTHCARE bill. The lights have been turned off and his advisers want him to continue wasting all this positive energy on something that is actually helping Fox News. Their ratings have sky rocketed. Why do they continue to do this? Because when the lights are turned back on this Government run Healthcare Bill will have passed. This is his most important piece of legislation and he has promised over and over again that before the end of the year we will have a Government run Healthcare program. He has placed all his eggs in one basket and there is no turning back. Our freedom to choose which healthcare package is good for our families will have been taken from us. And we all know that the Government cannot run anything yet some Bubbas Americans are letting this happen. We are losing our freedoms and if he is there for two terms America will not look the same. Our men and women have fought wars throughout the years to preserve our freedom. We cannot let one man steal these from us. It is our choice to act or pay the consequences later, Stay tuned...

Still playing politics...

It's been 50 plus days and the Obama administration is still not committed to sending troops to Afghanistan. Instead he is still preoccupied with sending his troops to fight Fox News. My friends this is no time to play politics. Our sons and daughters are risking their lives over there. They are in harms way every single day and this administration just doesn't care. I'll give you my take on this. Obama may want to do the right thing but George Soros and the extremists on the left just won't let him. You see we have elections coming up and close races in several states. Two of those races are in Virginia and New Jersey. He is afraid that if he commits troops to Afghanistan before the elections Democratic turn out would decline. Like I said in a previous posting he owes a lot of political capital to these people. Therefore he is waiting till after the November elections before he makes a decision of any kind. That is despicable. We cannot lose this war or Afghanistan will become a major haven for terrorists once again. But if we are not fighting to win then we should just bring our troops home. Stay tuned...

Rabbit ears...

Ok so now the Obama administration wants to decide for us which news networks are legitimate. A comment was made about Fox News not being a legitimate news network. The other state run media were warned not to follow Fox's lead. Fox is the only news network out there willing to ask this administration the tough questions. The rest of the State run media ( that is what they are ) MSNBC, NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC are just an extension of the Democratic Party. They have not reported on anything negative that has been going on. They have not spoken about Van Jones, all these Czars, the Acorn debacle, the refusal to listen to his Generals, and on and on. Fox has and this man has a problem with criticism. Any criticism of him angers him. He is wasting his energies fighting a war against Fox News instead of fighting the war in Afghanistan as his Generals have advised him. He has sent his troops against Fox News yet keeps postponing sending real tropps to Afghanistan. Like the dictator Hugo Chavez of Venezuela took over the media there Obama wants to do the same here. He wants to silence those with opposing views. My friends what happened to Freedom of Speech? Our liberties are being taken away slowly and some of you just don't get it. Stay tuned.

Jobs created as well as saved...

What a hoax. There is no way of calculating how many jobs have been saved. All I know is that unemployment is increasing and there is no formula to calculate jobs saved. It is another way of lying to the uninformed Americans who drink the Obama Kool Aid.

What was once Patriotic is now Racism...which is it?

 Here is what Hillary Clinton said about the Bush Administration..".I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration somehow you are not Patriotic and we should stand up and say we are Americans and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration."


Nancy Pelosi followed that by criticizing the Tea Party goers with this..." An ugly campaign is underway not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation but to disrupt civil dialogue. These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American."

Janeane Garafalo called Tea Party goers " a bunch of teabagging rednecks." She also went on to say " this is about hating a Black man in the White House." She stated that these average Americans disagreeing with Obama's policies were all racists.



They want to have it both ways, which one is it?


Any criticism of President Obama is now labeled as RACISM. It is no longer Patriotic to disagree.


The Democrats are now complaining of the hateful speech by us conservatives against Obama. I have not heard any hateful comments but instead disagreement with his policies.
